Why Rutgers?:
Honestly at first it was because it was so close to home yet it still retained that college feel but it has grown into so much more than just convenience. The classes are challenging and interesting, the students are friendly, the recreation is like a bottomless pit of opportunity. The spirit, the history, the diversity - I can't tell you how happy I am to have stumbled upon Rutgers in my college advisor's office.

Why Rutgers?:
When I first visited Rutgers, it was the history that drew me to the campus. Now, it's so much more than just its history. The professors are amazing, and I've met so many awesome people by getting involved with a sorority and Dance Marathon. A special class only offered by Rutgers celebrating the 400th anniversary of Jamestown helped me discover the awesome internship I did in Jamestown during the summer.

I am also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, as well as a founding member of Delta Epsilon Iota honors society. I also coach and referee youth lacrosse!

Oh man, well…I am a double legacy, and ever since I was little I never wanted to go here, in fact I swore I would never! Then one day my dad took me here after lacrosse practice, and something about the spirit here grabbed me!! Rutgers just felt right. I saw myself fitting in and excelling here. The campus wasn’t intimidating for me, and I don’t know, I could just see myself going here. There were other schools I definitely did not feel that way about. It also just made sense. Rutgers is wonderful school, and with state tuition and was also far enough, but also close enough from home.

I chose Rutgers because of the opportunities the school would be able to provide me with. They have a study abroad program in China, a strong and vibrant Greek community, a good business school, and a diverse student body.

I live really close to campus, about fifteen minutes away, but, I chose to live on campus anyway. The experience of living in the residence halls with new people and having a roommate is probably one of the most exciting things about going to college. The independence is great, but you develop a tight knit family with the people you live with. I always recommend living on campus.
Why Rutgers?
I came from a really small high school (about 150 per class) and I really liked the appeal of Rutgers because it was broken down into smaller campuses. This feature gives students that "small-school-feel" with all the resources and opportunities of a large university.
